A request from the owner

In order to ensure that we provide our customers with the highest quality food and service, fresh ingredients are carefully selected, purchased and prepared for each customer before customers arrive for their reservation. After confirming food allergies and consideration of preferences, we are dedicated to serving only the freshest and finest ingredients available. In addition to some of the reasons mentioned above, and due to the high volume of reservations as well as overlap with other customers making reservations, we kindly request that customers secure a reservation by paying for their course with a credit card or PayPal before their reservation. We look forward to serving you at our restaurant, and making your time at our restaurant, a special one.

Dresscode :
Business casual or semi-formal required. No casual wear allowed (sandals, t-shirts, short pants etc.).
Children :
Children 12 years old or older and who can order a course are welcome.
(Please let us know at the time of your request for a reservation).
※ Guests who come to the restaurant with children under 12 will be refused entry.
Regarding Stairs :
Please be informed that the main dining hall is only accessible by stairs.
For safety concerns, we are terribly sorry but cannot accommodate reservation requests for guests who have too much difficulty climbing stairs. We ask for your understanding.
Being on time :
The serving of your course will be significantly delayed if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation. Thank you for your understanding in this regard.

The courses are mainly comprised of seafood (various types of fish, shellfish, crustaceans and mollusks etc.) and vegetables. In most cases, it is very difficult to accommodate guests who cannot eat a majority of seafood, for reasons such as allergies. We are very sorry but the restaurant cannot provide courses to guests who fit the below description. (Requests to alter ingredients cannot be made at the restaurant.)

How to make a reservation

  • ① After you press send, an automated email will be sent to you titled "【Fujiya 1935】Thank you very much for your request for a reservation".
  • ② Reservation service, "My Concierge Japan" will check if your reservation can be made for the time you requested. We will send you an email within 24-48 hours to inform you if the restaurant has seats available or not.
  • ③ If seating is available, a URL link will be sent to you to make payment for your course with a credit card or PayPal. Please make payment within 48 hours. Once payment is confirmed, an email will be sent to you to let you know that your reservation is finalized.
  • ※We provide a 100% refund for customers (cancellations made at least three days before their reservation).

    ※Cancellations made on the day of the reservation, a day before the reservation, or two days before the date of the reservation, will not be eligible for a refund.

    ※Additional orders for food and drink can be made at the restaurant and must be paid for in cash at the restaurant.
